The St. Lucian Association of Georgia (SLUAG) is proud to support young people in St. Lucia through its scholarship and student support initiative.
Three students from Grand Rivière Primary School, Blanchard Combined School and Augier Combined School were selected from the North, Central and South of the island in recognition of both their academic achievement and their need for support. Each student received EC$1,000 along with a backpack filled with school supplies.
One of the three students will also be considered for a four-year scholarship, subject to maintaining good academic performance during their first year of secondary school.
SLUAG's support extends beyond academic achievement. Two additional students who recently lost their parents received school supplies and EC$500 for their guardians to help with essential educational expenses.
The Association also partnered with Rise St. Lucia to provide hygiene packages for students in need.
Through initiatives like this, SLUAG continues its commitment to education, community support and empowering the next generation of St. Lucians—both at home and abroad.
